My wife often gets annoyed with my restlessness. Even when I'm not moving, my mind is constantly active. While we do both value slowing down, I personally thrive when my hands (and mind) are busy. So long as I have a project or dream to work towards, I’m happy! We now consider ourselves modest homesteaders. We have chickens, ducks, gardens and orchards and working towards developing a flower farm and micro-wedding venue.

When I was young, I wanted to be a cartoonist, concept artist, and then movie maker. While none of those aspirations panned out, they all led me to the path I’m on now. Every dream I’ve had since I was a kid involved illustrating a story. Communicating in creative and thoughtful ways, the stories unfolding in real time, right before my eyes, is one of the coolest jobs I could ask to do… and I get to do it!
