Engagement Sessions
Or as I like to call them…
Lifestyle Sessions
Enough with the cheesy, checklist-style engagement sessions in the local park. An engagement session deserves more. It’s more than photos for your save-the-dates—it’s a chance to truly connect with your photographer, to get comfortable in front of the camera, and to document a fleeting chapter of your life.
The goal is to get to know you beyond the surface and collaborate on a location, a mood, creative direction, and even wardrobe so your photos look and feel like you. I go the extra mile to make these images meaningful, intentional, and emotionally grounded—because when the moments are real, the photos become something you genuinely connect with.
1. Questionnaire
Everything begins with a detailed questionnaire designed to understand who you are, your lifestyle, and your wardrobe preferences. This helps shape a session that genuinely reflects you.
2. Initial Concepts
Using your responses, several creative concepts are developed for your engagement session — including potential locations, timing, mood, aesthetic direction, and overall goals. A curated mood board is shared to visually communicate the vision.
3. Collaboration
This stage is all about creative exchange. You’re welcome to respond to the concepts, share your own ideas, or build on what resonates. Together, a direction is shaped that feels exciting, intentional, and true to you.
4. Final Plan
Once the concept is finalized, a professional wardrobe stylist joins the process to refine the styling direction. A comprehensive session plan is created, including a wardrobe vision board, detailed itinerary, location pins/addresses, and a clear outline of the session goals.
5. The Shoot
With everything thoughtfully planned, it’s time to create. The foundation has been set with intention — now the focus shifts to having fun, embracing the moment, and letting the magic unfold naturally.
-
The mission is rooted in intention — to craft an experience that honors your relationship and brings its truest qualities to life.
-
By balancing thoughtful creative direction with the freedom for natural spontaneity, the experience allows you to be documented both beautifully and authentically.
-
Because your photos reflect genuine authenticity and evoke real emotion, they become images you truly connect with — cherished and priceless for years to come.
*I do not copy photos, the board is purely used as inspiration and means to communicate vision.
